The tool has an ignition device (52) between facing walls (14,18) of the combustion chamber, placed to generate laminar propagation of the flame front. One combustion chamber wall (18) has overflow passages (38) at a distance from the ignition device. A device (55) to generate local turbulence is between ignition device and overflow passages to increase speed of flame front propagation.
