The method involves moving a conveyor belt past identical processing stations with holders for ceramic articles. The belt moves past two holders per step. In each step an unprocessed article is placed on a holder. After a number of steps equal to the number of holders the stations simultaneously remove unprocessed articles from holders and place them back on holders immediately preceding the ones from which unprocessed articles were removed. The method involves moving a conveyor belt past at least two identical processing stations (6) with holders (8) for ceramic articles (3), whereby the conveyor belt moves past two holders per step. In each step an unprocessed article is placed on a holder. After a number of steps equal to the number of holders the stations simultaneously remove an unprocessed article from a holder and, after a number of steps equal to the number of stations, place it back on the holder immediately preceding the one from which an unprocessed article was removed in the same step. A processed article is removed from a holder and placed on a stack during each step. Independent claims are also included for the following: an arrangement for processing edges of ceramic articles and a processing station.
