Production of an improver for infertile soils, by mixing non-leachable waste or its mixture with granulate or powder, fresh material from plastics and rubber production or fresh material and aggregate is new. Production of an improver for infertile soils, by mixing non-leachable waste or its mixture with granulate or powder, fresh material from plastics and rubber production or fresh material and aggregate, involves: (i) melting the comminuted waste material and/or fresh material or applying it to aggregate carrier material; (ii) contacting the obtained conglomerate and/or untreated waste and/or fresh material with additives for introducing polar and/or ion exchanging surface functional groups; and (iii) supplying inorganic and/or other additives to increase the nutritional potential.
