The connection for at least one subterranean supply tank, and especially a center shaft for a number of buried tanks, has a lowered bottom section (1) of steel in the shape of a trough. The trough structure has cylindrical walls (2), and an upper section has an opening for a cover (4) within a horizontal concrete surrounding surface (5). The cover (4) has a compatible fitting structure (10) to line up with the wall (2) of the lower section (1), and form a vertical access shaft zone (6) with an overlap (7) and a ring-gap sealing joint (8). A seal (9), with soft elasticity, is laid in a groove (23) at the fitting structure (10). The seal (9), of rubber or plastics, has a double-wedge profile.
