Cross-grained parquet floor blocks are triangular and parted at angle to give angled edges for blocks glued together by adhesive forming resilient acoustic layer between blocks and underfloor.
The blocks are triangular and are parted at angles to give angled edges and the blocks are joined together by adhesive which forms an elastic acoustic layer between the blocks and their support material. Support takes the form of a bend-resistant plate coated with acoustic material on the side facing the underfloor. On flat underfloors the parquet blocks can be butted up without glue in a tongue-and-groove join.
