The device influences the torque on at least one of the wheels mounted on the wheel axles depending on a measure of the pitching oscillations of the vehicle so that these oscillations are damped. The measure of the pitching oscillations can be inter alia the working pressure of at least one hydraulic motor (6) driving at least one wheel axle (5) or the torque of at least one electric motor or combustion engine driving at least one axle.
