The method and device are for the conversion of low temperature heat energy into mechanical energy with heat transmission and heat pump work circuit feeds. Water fed from the outside is fed as a heat carrier through shafts (4,5,6) and/or a pipe container device (8). Heat is withdrawn via heat exchanger pipe walls and transmitted into at least one functionally connected heat force-heat pump-work circuit. The work circuit functions with a fluid-gas-form-fluid cycle work medium, preferably an ammonia-conducting work circuit feed and in the corresponding pipe container pressure chambers (28) and/or heat exchanger pressure is produced up to the level of saturation. Pressure is fed out of the pipe container chambers via a control valve and a conduit connection (20) to activate a power machine device (3) and via an expansion part circuit feed producing a pressure difference.
