The sauna cabin (1) has a heating device (5), a control for regulation of the heating device and an operating device (7), operated by the user of the sauna cabin from the inside of the latter. The operating device converts spoken voice commands received from the user into corresponding electrical signals fed to the control, for regulation of the heating device. The operating device may also be used for controlling an illumination device (6) for the sauna cabin.
