The harmonic compensation method has the starting current regulator (7) connected in parallel with the rectifier (2) at the output of the turbine generator (1) for starting the generator used for compensating harmonics during the operation of the generator by active filtering of the generator current. An Independent claim for a circuit connecting a turbine generator to a current supply network is also included.
