A pharmaceutical composition (A), containing one or more of prednisolone, methylprednisolone, prednisone and their esters as active agent(s) (I), has a modified, delayed release profile, such that little or no (I) is released for a specific initial time period and subsequently (I) is released under forced conditions, with a steep increase in the release rate. - ACTIVITY : Antirheumatic; antiarthritic; antiallergic; antiasthmatic; antiinflammatory; antiulcer. - MECHANISM OF ACTION : None given.
