Geometric calibration of a pixel oriented photosensitive element of a type used in a CCD camera

The output of a laser (2) is directed onto a lens system (3,4) set in front of a holographic grating (5). This produces a real image with a point matrix distribution on the focal plane of the CCD camera (6). The pixel oriented emission is converted into electrical signals. The test structure provides geometric information of the pixel orientation.
