The tensioning and handling system has several adaptively structured clamping pallets of which an upper plate (1) can be swiveled about a center axis relative to the lower support plate (8) and positioned in partial stages. The pallets adjoin one another at the ends to form a polygonal hollow support body for service stations. The upper adaptive clamping plate can be formed as a circular disc with resilient cone socket (4) at the rear contact face and several indexing sockets set in an arc about the center. The front clamping face (2) has openings for fixing and positioning elements for the workpiece (9).
