Soap bars comprise: (a) 0.5-40 wt.% sugar-based surfactants selected from alkyl and/or alkenyl oligoglycosides and fatty acid N-alkylpolyhydroxyalkylamides; (b) 0.1-40 wt.% fatty acid partial glycerides; (c) 10-60 wt.% fatty acid salts; (d) 0-40 wt.% anionic, nonionic and/or amphoteric cosurfactants; (e) 0-10 wt.% fatty acids; and (f) 0-40 wt.% water-soluble structurants.
