A network system for laser processing is described. A first optic fibre (100) is provided which is guided from the output (45) of the first laser apparatus 940) to an optical connecting element assigned to the work station (10). A first communications connecting element is assigned locally to the first optical communications element which is connected with the laser control (47) of the first laser apparatus via a first communications line (106). A second optic fibre (110) is provided which is guided from the output (75) of the second laser apparatus (70) to a second optical connecting element assigned to the work station.
