Postoperative determination of iodinated thyroglobulin (Tg) in serum of human patients with differentiated thyroid carcinoma following administration of 131-iodine, comprising detecting endogenously 131-iodine labeled Tg with a Tg-specific antibody (Ab), is new. An Independent claim is also included for a kit for performing the novel method.
