Process for the parallel preparation and testing of individual heterogeneous catalysts in a multiple reactor containing 96, 24, or 384 reactors comprises carrying out renewed preparation/testing of the original catalysts in the same apparatus after the first preparation/testing with chemical intuition of the user. Preferred Features: The test result of the first preparation/testing is fed to a databank of earlier preparations/tests. The databank suggests by means of suitable algorithms either a renewed refined preparation/testing of the original catalysts in the same apparatus or a new solid body. Each individual reactor of the multiple reactor is filled with inorganic solid bodies.
