The aiming device, particularly for a sports weapon, has a front sight with a first through-view aperture and a diopter with a second through-view aperture. At least one of the apertures (1) is formed as a horizontal rectangle. The lines (2,3) forming the rectangle are formed by tabs with face-side angled areas, which are movable in the direction of the center with the through-view aperture. The tabs are so angled that their angled areas can overlap. They are arranged in a tunnel and their width is so dimensioned that in each of their positions the area of the tunnel outside the through-view aperture is fully covered by them.
