A server computer receives the inquiry and identity data forwarded by a first client computer. Once the server has established the identity of the client computer, it extracts from its database an offer data corresponding to the received inquiry data. The offer data describes an offer from the use of a second client computer. If the offer data do not conform with the inquiry data of the first client computer, the identity data output by the second client computer is transferred to the first client computer. Otherwise, the first identity data is transferred to the second client computer. If an agreement message is forwarded by both client computers to the server computer, the identity data are swapped between the client computers.
