Primary of ignition transformer is controlled by electronic ignition circuit receiving timing pulse signal indicating firing start of spark plugs. The ignition circuit discharges energy through secondary by opening primary current path, when there is fall in timing signal. The primary path is closed and reopened to charge and partially discharge stored inductive energy, based on amount of energy in transformer. An Independent claim is also included for multi charge ignition providing method.
