Two or more layers of a textile reinforcement are placed in a tool and shaped. At least one layer comprises individual pieces forming a patchwork. Connection between the fabric pieces for the purpose of handling is achieved by a meltable material which melts during the shaping process in a suitable molding cavity (2).
