The device has an alphanumeric key-pad which is used for establishing a mobile connection, storing digital audio data (MP3) in the mobile station, replaying/stopping, rewinding, or fast-forwarding the reproduced audio. A telephone module controls the standard functions of the mobile station. The digital audio data can be downloaded from a personal computer into the mobile station when a download key is pressed. The key-pad is used to select the reproduction of sound via a D/A converter. An RS232C connector is provided for connecting the telephone module to the personal computer. An MP3 module stores and reproduces the digital audio data.
