Electron-conducting adhesion promoter between aluminum collector and cathode active mass in lithium battery, contains poly(vinyl ester or amide-co-acid) binder and similar dispersant of lower molecular weight and acid number
Electron-conducting adhesion promoter between aluminum as current collector and the cathode active mass in lithium (-polymer) battery, consists of (a) 60-25 wt.% poly(vinyl ester or amide-co-acid) copolymer of molecular weight 200000-1000000 and acid number 200-600 as binder; (b) 0.02-0.5 wt.% dispersion aid of the same structure as (a) but molecular weight 50000-200000 and acid number 50-400; and (c) 40-75 wt.% conductive carbon black and/or graphite. Electron-conducting adhesion promoter between aluminum as current collector and the cathode active mass in a lithium battery, especially lithium-polymer battery, consists of (a) 60-25 wt.% poly(vinyl ester or amide-co-acid) copolymer with a molecular weight of 200000-1000000 and acid number of 200-600 as polymer binder; (b) 0.02-0.5 wt.% dispersion aid of the same structure as the binder but with a molecular weight of 50000-200000 and acid number of 50-400; and (c) 40-75 wt.% conductive carbon black and/or graphite as conductive additive.
