The connection fitting (1), to mount a longitudinal pipe etc. at a passage opening (3) through a housing wall (4), has holder projections (8) at one side of the opening edge (9) gripping back, and an elastic ring (11) at the other side of the edge as a limit stop to lie against the opposite opening edge (10). The ring (11) is supported at an angled surface (12) of the fitting (1), expanding away from the opening (3) from the inner to the outer sides, so that the elastic increase of its diameter gives an axial sliding movement to allow for different wall thicknesses. The fitting (1) is divided near the angled surface (12), to compensate for larger wall thickness differences, and the section (2) with the angled surface (12) can be set axially against the fitting (1) to vary the gap between the angled surface (12) and the holding projections (8), when in position or before mounting in a coarse setting.
