Conveying path is provided along elongated direction of the workpiece (4). The projection direction of inspection light is distributed such that ball supply tray (2) and mount head (1) are arranged parallel to elongated direction of workpiece. Ball inspection apparatus (3) which performs inspection of ball adsorbed by mount head, is distributed perpendicular to elongated direction of workpiece. An independent claim is also included for ball mount procedure.
