The mechanism has a frame (3) with two slide guides at the top, a cap (1) sliding at the front on one of the guides, and a heel holder (2) sliding on the other guide at the rear of the frame. A rear support element (4) is connected pivoted to the heel holder, and a blocking element (5) is located in the frame to lock the setting of the cap and the heel holder. Front cap and/or heel each have a row of teeth at the base, to engage with the spring-loaded blocking elements.
