The tongue engages on reaching a pre-set position until freed or released by the actuator (6). The tongue entry (1a) is bounded by the covers (15,16) and the actuator (6) and part (16a) of the cover round the entry reaches forward into the tongue path so part (6b) of the actuator (6) also limiting the entry (1a) reaches forward into the tongue at a certain distance. Thus when the tongue engages the locking part, it contacts the cover part (16a) or actuator part (6b) or collides with this part (6b) but clear of the base (2) floor (2c) and guides (2p).
