The valve setting control device has a housing(4) which is connected torsionally fixed either to a rotating element(3) or to the camshaft(1). A vane rotor(15) is installed in the housing, and pressure chamber-side fluid passages(25,26) open out into an axial bore(27). The vane rotor is connected to the rotating element or to the camshaft providing the one or the other is not connected to the housing. A vane(18) extends radially from the vane rotor and defines in the housing a pair of fluid pressure chambers(19,20) communicating with the fluid passages.
