Microwave pulses are transmitted to tank from radar system (10) through probe after inserting other end of probe (2) below lower boundary surface of two liquid layers in tank. Positions and distance between boundary surfaces is determined based on amplitude of feedback pulses generated by reflection of pulse from lower and upper boundary surfaces of layers with reference to amplitude of reference pulse. Independent claims are also included for the following: (a) Time domain reflectometry measurement device; (b) Delay generator of micropulse radar system.
