Hot-melt adhesive granules with a core of hot-melt adhesive and outer shell(s) of non-adhesive material, in which the composition forming this shell contains (2) 1-5 parts by weight (pts. wt.) sugar alcohol as film-former and preferably (3) 0.05-0.25 pts. wt. surfactant or foam suppressant in addition to (1) 10-25 pts. wt. polyolefin wax as release agent. An Independent claim is also included for a method for the production of hot-melt adhesive granules by treating the adhesive core granules with an aqueous dispersion containing the composition described above.
