A lid (20) is swingably supported over a lower housing (4) of connector (3) so that upper housing (7) of another connector (2) is plugged into housing (4), when closing the lid. Link guides (31,32) of different sizes are formed in side wall of housing (4) to reduce plug-in force. A side block of lid is supported between the link guides.
