The protective fence is made up of posts (2) and has wire fields (1) with horizontal and vertical wires. The wire field is connected together with adapted fixture elements. The upper edge of the wire field has an upper horizontal profile rod (6), while the lower edge has a lower horizontal profile rod (7). The wire field has at least one adapted hanging element (12,13) under the corners of the posts. The upper profile rod has fixture latches (10) screwed on each end. The lower profile rod may have a hanging element on both its ends. Each hanging element may have an upwardly inclined hanging pin (13) which may be gripped at the end of the lower profile rod. The hanging element may have a bearing surface for the lower profile rod.
