Several inner electrode layers (8,9) are arranged alternately between dielectric ceramic layers (2). The coarseness at the crossover area between each inner electrode layer and ceramic layer, is set to 200 nm or less. The porosity of ceramic layer is about 1% or less per area in polished cross section. An Independent claim is also included for monolithic ceramic electronic component production method.
