The non-return valve, for flow media, has a radial guide section formed by a ball, and a cup working with a valve seat (11) as the moving valve member (4). The valve housing (1) is drilled (7) to take the valve member (4), and is shaped with a circular valve seat (11) for the sealing cup forming inflow and outflow sections (2,3) for the medium through the housing (1). The valve member (4) has openings (10) between the sealing cup downstream of the valve seat (11) and the drilling forming the medium flow passage. A strap is between the openings (10) on the side of the sealing cup away from the valve seat (11). A coil spring (5) bears on the valve member (4) in the closing direction against a closed end side (9) at the trailing side of the valve member (4). The outer dia. of the spring (5) generally matches the inner dia. of the drilling (7) through the housing (1), which acts as a radial guide for the spring. The medium, on leaving the openings (10), flows directly through the core of the coil spring (5). The coil spring (5) is supported at the end side (9) of the valve member by at least a surface structure.
