Data communications system has power conversion master or main control circuit feeding series of conversion slave/auxiliary control circuits, with one slave passing signal to main circuit
The arrangement has a power conversion master or main control circuit and conversion slave or auxiliary control circuits in series. A first slave circuit receives a first data signal, derives a second data signal from it and transmits one of the data signals as a function of a first flag signal and so on. One auxiliary control circuit passes its derived or received data signal back to the main control circuit depending on a flag. The arrangement has a power conversion master or main control circuit and conversion slave or auxiliary control circuits. A first slave control circuit is coupled to the main control circuit to receive a first data signal and can be operated to determine a second data signal as a function of the first and to transmit one of the data signals as a function of a first flag signal. Each successive auxiliary control circuit is coupled to the one before to similarly derive data signals and transmit them depending on flag signals. One auxiliary control circuit passes its derived or received data signal back to the main control circuit depending on a flag. Independent claims are also included for the following: a method of transmitting data between a master or main circuit and a slave or auxiliary circuit and a method of determining the number of secondary circuits.
