The switch has a piezoceramic element (5) applied to a flexible electrically-insulating carrier (6), e.g. a push-button tongue indirectly acting as the switch operating element, for providing a piezoceramic flexure strip (1) having a voltage tap-off (2) coupled to an IR or radio transmitter (4), for supplying a switch command to a remote receiver.
