The pressure control device has signal lines that are connected to the control circuits of the linear valves on the brakes of two diagonally opposite wheels (16,19) of the vehicle. The signal lines for the other two brakes (17,18) are connected to the brake control unit by a different connector. Thus, if one connector becomes faulty it is possible to supply control signals via the other connector and provide some measure of braking.
