The edge flanges (3,4) of the fluid tank halves (1,2) have respective apertures (7,8) of different sizes which are aligned when the edge flanges are adjoined to each other. The flange of one tank half has a lip (11) for surrounding its aperture and for setting to the aperture of the flange of the other fluid tank half to form a gap. A sealing is provided in a gap groove to provide a fluid seal between the flanges.
