Ignition device for IC engine has foam at front end of connecting section of protector between front end and spark plug, designed by elastic foam material

An ignition device for an IC engine is configured in a way that a protector (30) which is provided on an ignition coil is mounted on an electrode of a spark plug (40). Foam (34) at a front end of a connecting section (33) of the protector is located between the front end and the spark plug. The foam is designed by an elastic foam material. The elastic foam material which forms the foam is silicon rubber material. The foam is used in an ignition coil that is directly coupled with a spark plug which generates a single high voltage as a reaction to a single firing signal.
