Control method for motorized extending device involves calibration run at reduced speed compared to normal to determine starting point for braking ramp for deployment and retraction
The method involves a motor controler (8) defining a braking ramp for an extraction motor (7) for approaching the fully retracted or deployed position. A calibration run is performed at reduced speed compared to normal to determine the starting point for the braking ramp for deployment and retraction of the extending device, in which a measure of the total length of the deployment path is determined.
