Telescopic arm comprises at least three tubes inserted into each other like a telescope. When the tubes (3, 4) are extended, the locking bar (10) protrudes with its front locking surface (11) out of the hole (9) in the side wall and a rear locking surface (13) faces the rear edge (14) of the hole. When two of the tubes are pushed together, the larger outer tube (3) with a front tube region pushes the locking bar back through the hole so that the rear locking surface moves away from the rear edge of the hole.
