PURPOSE: To judge bank switching with the least number of instructions by providing processing based upon a statement in a source program is a bank switching instruction or label line. ;CONSTITUTION: An instruction decoding part 104 judges whether or not one line read in a language processing part body 103 is an instruction line. When the line is the instruction line, it is checked whether or not the instruction is the bank switching instruction. A table 108 which contains a mnemonic list of instructions is provided in the instruction decoding part 104 and when the mnemonic symbol of an instruction in the source program matches a bank switching instruction in the table 108, the bank switching instruction is judged; when the instruction is the bank switching instruction, a symbol (reserved word) which is defined by a language processing system and stored in a symbol storage part 105 and a bank number 'n' for switching to the value corresponding to it are allocated.
