PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a new aligned peptide capable of easily detecting the bound/ interaction site in a protein, composed of, as constituents, sectioned peptides which are synthesized based on the sequences obtained by dividing a protein into appropriate sequence tables according to the amino acid sequence of the protein. ;SOLUTION: This new aligned peptide is composed of, as constituents independent of one another, sectioned peptides which are synthesized based on the sequences obtained by dividing a protein into appropriate sequence tables according to the amino acid sequence of the protein, and represents the amino acid sequences of the above protein. This aligned peptide is useful for easily and systematically detecting the bound/interaction site for a protein to/with its ligand. This peptide is obtained by the following process: a protein is divided into appropriate sequence tables according to its amino acid sequence, peptides are then synthesized so as to correspond to the respective resultant sections, and the sectioned peptides thus synchronized are arranged in succession, for example, to begin with, from the terminal, and then immobilized on an appropriate substance.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1998,JPO
