In the method for determining at least one of the nucleotides ATP, ADP and AMP by bioluminescent reaction, the new feature is that all co-factors and buffers required for a single measurement are present in the form of a `unit dose', facilitating storage and allowing retention of activity.Also new are reagents for this process comprising pre-measured quantities of reactants for a single test in storage stable form.Pref. (a) the components are lyophilised separately, mixed and formed into a solid tablet, with addn. of suitable adjuvants or (b) the components are measured out, the soln. freeze dried and stored frozen.
