The invention relates to a device for compensating for the effects of the deformations of a pylon supporting (] propyl) disposed between a carrier (prt) and a load, the load supported by the mounting pylon being, for example, a cartridge (type a bomb or missile) or a nacelle.il is applied, according to an example of implementation, to a control system (34) of the orientation of a sighting axis (ldv2) of an imaging device (13) integrated into the pylon, this axis of sight may be subjected to the effects of the deformations of the pylon. The device according to the invention comprises: - a predetermined number of sensors of stress (31) located in the structure of the pylon, for example of the resistive strain gauges and / or the sensors piezo - electrical, the responses (r1, r2, r3) of these sensors being in particular a function of the loads imposed on the pylon, - a module (32) of the treatment of these responses, which makes it possible, by comparison with a pre-established means (33), to determine, in particular, the value of the static component of at least one rotation (gammax, alphay, z) undergone by the sighting axis (ldv2), due to the deformations of the pylon is subjected to the said loads, this value being sent to the control system in order to carry out a compensation of the rotation undergone by the sighting axis.
