The gearbox simulator for driving training has a gear lever connected to a shaft (14) which can slide and rotate in a housing (10) which is fixed with respect to the shaft axis to simulate gear changing movements. A fluid cylinder (58) is connected to the shaft to simulate gear engagement resistance forces.
