Mechanism comprises mobile catch (4) that can pivot so as to work together with ring (6) using lever (8), which is actuated when compensation spring is broken. Once catch is blocked with ring, shutter is immobile. If user desires to unroll shutter completely, user can pull shutter so as to overcome friction forces applied on ring by two fixed flanges (7).
