摘要
The base frame (1) is fastened rigidly to the machine. The horizontal plate (12) fixed to its upper surface includes eye guides (121) for the thread. The drive wheel (3) is mounted on an upper surface of the base frame with a location plate (14) mounted below. This includes two parallel rows of eye guides (141, 142), spaced vertically apart. An assembly of thread guide wheels (2) is suspended below the base frame (1), coupled to the drive wheel. A band of rubber (23) is mounted on each wheel. Each wheel includes a recessed peripheral wall, the bands of rubber on each forming an annular convex section (230) around the wheel, dividing each wall into a grooves for the upper- (211) and lower threads (212). Thread tensioning stirrups (5) are fixed to the location plate (14) on one side, at different heights corresponding with the thread guide wheels (21). The stirrups each include a tension lever (51), a casing (52), cover plate (53), an adjustment plate, adjustment screw, spring, and a connection plate. The tensioning lever pivots with respect to the casing and includes upper and lower eye guides at the end remote from the casing. The casing includes a screw hole at one end, the connection plate having one end connected to the tension lever and an opposite end connected to the spring inside the casing. One end of the spring is connected to the location plate inside the casing, the opposite end is connected to the adjustment plate. The latter, also in the casing, is connected to the spring. (detailed diagrams are included in the disclosure) The adjustment screw is screwed into the hole at one end of the casing and connected to the adjustment plate. The screw is turned to adjust the resilient spring force, varying in turn, the tension lever position. The casing includes a counterbored hole accommodating a bearing. The cover plate includes a similar bearing mounting. A pivot shaft is supported by the bearings and includes first and second reduced axial end stub spindles, passed through and extending from the bearings, with a forked shaft extending perpendicularly from it and attached to one end of the adjustment plate. The thread tension lever of each of the stirrups includes rigid wires (515, 516) each with one end terminating in a fixing eye attached to an end of the shaft. The other ends are suspended below the casing, bent down to support upper and lower eye guides (512, 513). The unit is further detailed in a dependent claim, based on the foregoing principles.
