All information to be applied in the second level printing procedure to the base sheet is assembled as a complete image and can then be reviewed for accuracy and completeness on a computer screen. The image is then printed in reverse as a mirror image onto the silicon-coated surface of silicon release paper and the image can then be checked again, before printing is carried out using a conventional laser printer. The image and substrate are pressed together in a press under pressure of 400-500 kPa at a temperature of 95-110 degrees C to transfer the image to the substrate.
