Vehicle has bodywork (4) with rear boot housing (6). Housing is sealed in lower rear part by tailgate panel (8) rotating on hinges (9) about horizontal transversal axis (10). Tailgate has two plane external and internal (12) walls distant from each other to form internal cavity. Internal wall has two elongated slots (14) situated near lower edge of tailgate communicating with cavity. Traction generator (16) with gas spring (18) is directly connected to flexible cable (22) connecting tailgate to bodywork.
