The machining rotates the workpiece to form its shape with the aid of a spark erosion tool (3) with a wire cutter (6). The workpiece can be raised and lowered, and is clamped in a frame, to be rotated relative to the frame by a motor acting through a drive. The speed of rotation is regulated, and indexing ensures accurate angular positioning of the workpiece. An Independent claim is also included for the apparatus supporting workpiece.
